The Green Glens Arena |
The Green Glens Arena-venue for the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest and International Show-jumping Events was established in 1991 and is complete world class, custom designed and built equestrian centre with refurbished
200-year-old sandstone farm buildings, serving our restaurant, bar, apartment and entertainment needs. By completing the massive indoor in 1991
Noel C. Duggan realised his dream of reinstating The World Cup which remained in Millstreet through to the Millennium.
The Duggan’s Family are accustomed to visitors. Each year in August and October we organise two international horse shows, attracting visitors from all over the world. If you need more information about annual shows in Millstreet, go to our page "Events". |
 Home of Champions
Over the years we continue the best traditions of Irish Sport Horse breeding and training show-jumping horses. There is no need to remind about these horses-
Millstreet Ruby and
Mill Pearl
to a person who is interested in Show-Jumping. Both mares were top-class international show-jumpers and multiple winners and both were born in Millstreet. They are retired now from sport, Millstreet Ruby- to her Home Stud, Mill Pearl-in USA.
All Our Brood Mares carries the blood-line of
King of Diamonds, one of the most successful sire of Irish and World class Sport Horses. Carefully studying the pedigree and progeny performance we select the world class stallions for breeding. In the moment We have horses by approved stallions:
Lux Z (HAN), Aldatus Z (OLD),
Cruising (ISH),
Kahtan (TB),
Touchdown (ISH)
and our own ISH stallion by Mill Jess-
Millstreet Squire . |
